Architect: Land of Exiles is a free-to-play fantasy MMORPG built in Unreal Engine 5 by Korean studio Aqua Tree and published by DRIMAGE, the company formerly known as HYBE IM. It first launched in South Korea on October 22, 2025.
DRIMAGE opened a separate Global Region on September 16, 2026 at 11:00 (UTC+8) for Windows PC, Android, and iOS. It gathers players from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Korea, and other supported regions into one world, but it runs apart from the original Korea Region, so characters and progress never move between the two.
Attacks land based on aim and positioning rather than a locked target. Each character also develops Battle Stances, a growth system DRIMAGE lists in its official guide alongside skills, costumes, and mounts.
Warrior (two-handed sword, front line), Assassin (dual daggers, strikes from behind), Mage (staff, elemental area damage), Hunter (bow, ranged precision), and Battle Priest (healing, protection, and sacred magic).
DRIMAGE markets Architect as a “Zero Stress” MMORPG. Smart Auto-Combat restocks consumables, revives, and returns to your hunting ground, and Offline Mode keeps fighting after you close the game.
The official guide covers field and world bosses, Incursions, Challenge Gates, Ethereal Sanctum, Rift, Abyss Battlefield, Angbar Arena, and Monolith Conquest, plus the Tower of Titans endgame.
Agree on a server with friends before anyone starts leveling. Characters belong to one server, and the Global Region shares no data with the Korea Region.
You can sign up with email, Google, or Apple and add other external accounts later. Once an external account is linked, it cannot be swapped for a different one, so connect only the Google or Apple account you intend to keep.
Popular servers can fill quickly. During the August 28 name reservation event, every server reached capacity within seven minutes. The Abzu streamer server that opened on September 24 also warned that character creation may close once it is full.
Most growth comes from repeatable systems rather than the story campaign. Clearing these regularly keeps a new character on pace:
Smart Auto-Combat walks to town to rebuy designated consumables, revives by your chosen rules, and stores items by grade. Automatic dismantling only works while the paid Successor’s Privilege benefit is active.
Offline Mode continues combat after the client closes, but only when monsters are nearby. It pays for restocking with in-game currency, and it stops if that currency runs out. The Offline Mode Results screen then shows play time, currency, experience, and items gained.
It is not a safe idle mode. DRIMAGE warns that your character may die or be attacked by other players, and you may lose experience and items depending on location and inventory. Pick a hunting spot your character clears comfortably before logging off.
If you only want to save battery while the game stays open, use Power Saving Mode instead. It keeps the session running with less heat and power draw.
The game is free to download, but its shop sells progression, not only cosmetics. The September 23 shop notice listed a USD 79.99 Rapid Upgrade Package containing 80 Summon Selection Chests, 300 Skill Manuals, 30 Tomes of Transcendence, and 30,000 Stardust. Its purchase limit rose from one to two per server.
Costume summons follow a published curve. In the normal table, a 5-star costume stays at 0.01% per pull. The 4-star rate climbs sharply after pull 80 until it is effectively guaranteed at pull 100. That pity protects 4-star results, not 5-star ones. Rates differ by banner, so check the in-game Probability Info before buying.
Refunds only apply to products that are unopened and unused. Keep a purchase untouched and contact support with the order number if you want to cancel it.
Avoid off-market currency deals. DRIMAGE publishes daily sanctions for “Ghost Trade,” which is moving currency between accounts at prices dozens to hundreds of times away from the Marketplace average. The September 27 notice alone restricted 10,327 accounts.
The PC version installs through the DRIMAGE Launcher on 64-bit Windows 10 or 11. Mobile players download it from Google Play or the App Store.
DRIMAGE notes that performance can still vary with network conditions, operating system, and device upkeep. The separate DRIMAGE SYNC app lets you control a game running on your own PC from a phone; it is remote play, not a lighter mobile version.
