Seal M2

Overview

Seal M2 is an upcoming cross-platform fantasy MMORPG developed by PLAYWITH GAMES and operated by PLAYWITH KOREA. It is the official numbered sequel to Seal M, preserving the Seal series’ bright cartoon rendering, humorous characters, and Shiltz setting while expanding combat, character growth, party play, and guild systems.

The announced release target is South Korea in Q4 2026. Official pre-registration is open until launch, but PLAYWITH has not announced an exact launch day or a global English-service schedule. This is a separate game from the existing Seal M and SealM on ONE services.

Five Classes with Distinct Roles

Players begin as one of five classes: Knight, Archer, Mage, Priest, or Jester. The Knight fights on the front line with sword and shield themes, the Archer attacks at range, the Mage uses meteor and ice magic, the Priest prioritizes healing allies, and the Jester mixes blades, tricks, smoke, and poison.

The launch FAQ says the class selected at character creation cannot be changed at release. Character gender changes appearance rather than statistics, so the important first decision is the combat role and play style you want to keep.

Combat, Dungeons, and Bosses

Seal M2 supports automatic quest movement and automatic hunting to reduce the repetition of leveling and field grinding. Its cooperative content includes four-player party dungeons with matchmaking and equipment rewards, plus raids, missions, and bosses fought alongside other players.

Timed field bosses reward group participation, with night bosses advertised as offering richer rewards. The Sage’s Tower provides floor-by-floor progression, while the seasonal Battlefield of Challenge ranks players by their contribution against bosses rather than by direct player killing.

Equipment, Costumes, Ooparts, and Pets

Character growth extends beyond conventional equipment. Costumes grant base statistics and become stronger through transcendence, synthesis, and collection effects. Ooparts occupy customizable helm, face, back, tail, and glove positions and also improve combat power through collection and upgrade systems.

Pets come in multiple types and grow through inheritance and evolution. Less useful pets can still become evolution materials or be sent on dispatches. These systems create several parallel progression tracks, but the official site also discloses randomized items and pre-registration rewards include costume and Ooparts summon tickets.

Guilds, Competition, and a Changed Shiltz

PLAYWITH says direct PK and PvP will not be available at launch. Competition instead comes from field bosses, contribution rankings, and the Battlefield of Challenge. Guilds add attendance rewards, blessings, a guild shop, cooperative missions, and an initial roster of up to 20 members that can grow with the guild.

The story begins in Shiltz year 340, where the player awakens without memories in a familiar world altered beyond a dimensional rift. The setting resembles the Shiltz known by returning players but hides changes and new truths, giving the sequel space to revisit established places without retelling the same journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Seal M2?

Seal M2 is PLAYWITH’s official numbered sequel to Seal M: a cartoon-rendered fantasy MMORPG set in a changed version of Shiltz with five classes, cross-platform play, party dungeons, bosses, pets, guilds, and collection-based progression.

Has Seal M2 been released?

No. It is in pre-registration and targets a South Korean release in Q4 2026. PLAYWITH has not announced an exact launch day. The December 31 date shown by Apple should not be treated as a confirmed day without a publisher announcement.

Will Seal M2 have a global English release?

No global or English-service schedule has been announced. The current campaign, community, age rating, and Q4 launch plan are for South Korea.

Which platforms support Seal M2?

Official plans cover Windows PC, Android, iPhone, and iPad. PC and mobile will support cross-play and access to the same character data through a linked Google or Apple account.

Which classes are available?

The launch roster is Knight, Archer, Mage, Priest, and Jester. Each has a distinct combat identity, and class change is not planned for the initial release.

Does Seal M2 have PvP or PK?

Direct PvP and PK are not planned for launch. Competitive progression instead includes field bosses and the seasonal Battlefield of Challenge, where boss contribution determines rankings and rewards.

Can Seal M2 be played solo?

Yes. Quests, automatic movement, automatic hunting, and several progression activities can be used alone. Party dungeons allow solo entry but are balanced for groups, so official matchmaking is recommended.

Is Seal M2 free to play?

The Korean App Store lists it as free with in-app purchases, and Google Play discloses in-app purchases. The official site also warns that the game contains randomized items.

Can I use a guest account?

No. PLAYWITH says a Google or Apple account must be linked when play begins. Choose carefully because changing the linked account may be difficult.

Is Seal M2 the same game as Seal M?

No. Seal M2 is a separate official sequel. Seal M, SealM on ONE, and SealM on CROSS are different releases with their own clients, regions, accounts, and service plans.
