Overview

MMOGrounds respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using the MMOGrounds website.

If you believe that content available on or through our website infringes one or more of your copyrights, please notify us by providing a written DMCA notice containing the information described below.

Filing a DMCA notice

To file a copyright infringement notification with us, please provide the following information in writing:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
• Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the URL or other specific location on our website where the material can be found
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information provided in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf

Counter-notification

If you believe that content you posted on MMOGrounds was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us. A counter-notification must include the following:

• Your physical or electronic signature
• Identification of the content that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, including the URL where the content appeared before it was removed
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
• A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your district and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice

Repeat infringers

MMOGrounds will, in appropriate circumstances, disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright.

Third-party content

MMOGrounds displays game data, cover art, and screenshots sourced from IGDB.com and other publicly available sources under fair use for informational and review purposes. All game titles, logos, and artwork are the property of their respective owners.

User-submitted reviews and content are the responsibility of the individual users who post them. MMOGrounds does not pre-screen user content but will act promptly to remove infringing material upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice.
