1. Albion Online
Every item in Albion is made by players, and in its most dangerous zones everything you carry can be looted when you die. That keeps the economy moving and gives every fight real stakes.
2026 has been a big year. Realm Divided Part II (February 23) added Battle Standards and Escort Fights to the faction war. Radiant Wilds (April 13) brought a ranked 1v1 arena and a visual overhaul. The game also launched on Xbox, and summer brought dragons as world objectives that alliances fight over.
2. Black Desert
Black Desert's guild PvP runs on Node Wars and Sieges, where guilds fight over territory on a fixed schedule. Its combo-heavy action combat rewards practice more than most MMOs.
